Hosting
Find answers about Hosting, from setup to everyday use.
Which plans include hosting?
Go and Starter each include one host; Enterprise includes five. Free does not include hosting.
Are SSL certificates included?
Yes, every deployment automatically receives an SSL certificate at no extra cost, even for custom domains.
Can the agent deploy my code?
Yes. The agent can write the code and trigger the deployment, but you maintain full control over what goes live.
What should I verify after deploying a site?
Open the published address, check the main page and assets, and test a few important links on the deployed version.
Can I roll back to an earlier deployment?
Yes. If a newer deployment causes a problem, select an earlier successful version and restore it, then investigate the newer release separately.
Should I deploy a site, an app, or a function?
Choose a site for files that can be served directly, an app when you need a server module with your files, and a function for code that handles requests.
How can I return to an earlier hosting deployment?
Choose a known-good earlier deployment and use the rollback action, then verify the live site and any related service behavior.
Can I host a server that needs to run continuously?
Hosting supports static sites and edge modules, not a permanently running Node.js server; choose a runtime that matches how your application handles requests.
Why does my deployed site work on one hostname but not another?
Check that each hostname has the intended DNS records, is attached to the correct project, and is covered by the site's certificate before comparing application behavior.
What happens to the current site if a new deployment fails?
A failed deployment does not disconnect the previous healthy deployment. The existing version can continue serving while you investigate the failure and prepare another attempt.
How can I tell whether a deployment is serving the domain I expect?
Check the project's domain association and deployment status, then visit the exact hostname. A successful build alone does not confirm that a particular domain is attached to that project.
Why might HTTPS fail shortly after I connect a custom hostname?
The hostname may be attached before its certificate is ready. Check the hosting status for certificate progress and verify DNS and hostname association before treating the deployment as broken.
